July 1 is the Canada Day. Thousands of people celebrated today by having picnic,fireworks, street performances,parades, carnivals, festivals, barbecues, air and maritime shows,and free musical concerts. Canada's national day is a statutory holiday celebrating the anniversary of July 1 1867 enactment of the British North America Act. which united Canada as a single country of four provinces. Canada Day observances take place throughout Canada as well as internationally.
